The Playstation Store finally made the demo for Mirror’s Edge a few days ago. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical about the game, which was the reason I wanted to try out the demo to see for myself if the parkour-style first person adventure game will actually live up to its hype.

And I was suitably impressed.

The controls were easy and intuitive enough and even from a first-person perspective you get a giddy feeling doing the parkour moves. The demo was too short though to get a feel for game as a whole so I’m a little worried that it may turn out to be too repetitious just like Assassin’s Creed.

But nevertheless, Mirror’s Edge looks like another addition to my buy list.
