We love us some Monopoly here at ForeverGeek. We’ve written about its various incarnations many times.

So imagine my delight when I discovered that inside my “Planet Express” box was a special preview of Monopoly’s upcoming Futurama edition, including a game piece and other elements from the game! It was a super cool surprise, and I knew immediately that I had to share it with our readers. Enjoy!

But first, the details: Futurama Monopoly is scheduled to ship to consumers around the middle of October November, but a pre-order sale is happening now, until the end of September. Futurama Monopoly is available exclusively from USAopoly.com. It will not be sold in stores.

With an x-ray device juts like hospitals use he started making amazing photos of all kinds of objects, like: a desk lamp, a flower, a stuffed bear and of large objects. A bobcat and even a Boeing 777. That takes a lot of shots and radiation to get it done.

When radiologist take x-rays photos of patients they do it in a fraction of a second. That’s why most of the time the photos aren’t sharp. Just last month I had photos taken after a nasty fall, I was in and out of the room in 10 minutes, including getting put on the table, and put in position for two photos.

Nick needs 12 minutes of full radiation exposures to get crisp and sharp x-ray shots. The results are amazing.

This Boeing 777 is the largest x-ray photo ever taken, it took 500 separate x-rays to stitch this photo together.

Everyday common objects are viewed form a total different point, literary.

If you wonder how he takes photos of human skeletons considering the radiation factor; He either uses skeletons in rubber suits or, hold your seats, cadavers donated to science. He has 8 hours to use the cadaver before rigor mortis sets in.

We can assume this is a dead guy. This really goes deep if one is willing to work with cadavers for art.

It’s not all cold objects and dead people, there is also beauty to be seen.

Dubbed The Human Printer, Louise creates photographic “prints” by hand, and you can even send in your own photos for Louise to work on.

The results are definitely unique.

Martin Wilson is a long-standing artist using traditional film photography as his medium.

His web site showcases 16 big art pieces that are stitched together from individual, ordered 35mm film.

Once Martin has developed the film, he scans it in and then place the final image together, including the shot numbers under each frame. He swears that he doesn’t cheat at all using Photoshop, and if he makes a mistake or shoots a frame out of place he starts the whole project again from scratch.

In a digital age when so much is manipulated via Photoshop, surely this has to count as master geekery? Take a look at some of the amazing artwork on his site. You can buy it all, too, and not for stupid prices either.

One, the first thing that I did when I was done checking in was to see the farthest that the WiFi signal would reach. Obviously, I figured it out pretty quickly as I am online now and posting, right?

Two, my Tweeter has been busy since I left early this morning for the airport. Sometimes I used my phone, sometimes I used my netbook. But from the airport to the ferry boat, I have been Tweeting the hours away.

Three, I actually found myself a nifty gadget, a USB modem that allows me to connect to the Internet wherever I may be, as long as there is a mobile phone signal. I got it because I know how WiFi availability is so unreliable outside the city and the prospect of having no Internet for a full work week was just too unpleasant.

Four, my camera has been used a lot - and it’s the just the first day! Now you may say that this is not unusual, right? I have to say, though, the main thought in my mind as I take pictures is how nice they would look in my blog….

Enough said. And I guess that’s what geeks do while on vacation. What do you do?
