Ken Kutaragi admitted in an interview with a Japanese gaming site that when playing graphically intensive games like Ridge Racer, as opposed to simple puzzle games, the PSP’s battery life may be considerably shorter than the initial estimates. The original estimates were also figured with headphones rather than using the built-in speakers, the wireless networking feature turned off, and the screen dimmed to a certain level.
