British Sun newspaper tries to go Web 2.0 before offlining itself

I find the latest TV advert by British tabloid paper The Sun quite amusing, poking fun at the iPhone and trying to convince us that it’s so much better reading a real printed newspaper than doing so online. They’ve even picked a voiceover guy who sounds very similar to Apple’s choice. It’s amusing given that the ultimate owner of The Sun, Rupert Murdoch, wants to delist his newspapers from search engines and charge for content, on top of today’s announcement that NewsNow won’t be displaying links to a load of British newspapers because of the Newspaper Licensing Authority’s pathetic licensing issues.
