Not only does it allow you to inject a little of you or your company&#8217;s personality into the proceedings (have you tried doing that with a vCard?) but there are still plenty of people for who a piece of card is the holy grail of making contacts.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s plenty of scope for updating the type of information displayed on it, though. Take <a href="http://www.kimbost.com/">Kim Bost</a>&#8217;s <a href="http://www.swiss-miss.com/2009/02/status-update-business-card.html">business card design</a> which simply provides space for a &#8220;status update&#8221;.</p>

<p>In case you think that font looks familiar, it&#8217;s fittingly the same one used by Facebook ? Klavika from Process Type Foundry <a href="http://www.swiss-miss.com/2009/02/status-update-business-card.html#comment-14419">according to</a> <a href="http://general-projects.com/">Ben Pieratt</a>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a cool concept, though perhaps not the most ideal if you actually want to contact Kim again in the future. Perhaps there&#8217;s details on the back &#8211; at very least a web site and a Twitter name.</p>
<p>If you had this business card, would you always write an honest status on it, knowing that it could sit around on someone&#8217;s desk for months?</p>
