I think I only am sure about the identities of 11 of the doctors in the image. I have to say that by far, the last doctor is the best rendition. Which of these Doctorama doctors do you like best? Why?

Whether you recognize them all or not, it would be cool to have this piece of art, wouldn’t it? The guys at redbubble are selling t-shirts featuring this design. Shirts start at $30.97 each, and you can choose the shirt color. It would be an awesome post-Christmas gift for anyone!

Direwolf Winter Lager

So winter is coming. We all know that. We may not know what exactly is coming with winter, though we have five books’ worth of hints and clues. We’re even getting details about the casting for the second season of Game of Thrones.

I am sure you’re all tied up in knots waiting for that season to commence, but there’s nothing we can do about it for now except to hang on to every morsel of news that we can get our hands on. We can also watch reruns. Alternatively, we can scour the web for cool stuff that tells us about the long and harsh winter that is coming – like this awesome shirt design by Nathan Stillie.

Winter is coming indeed, and what better way to keep warm than bottles and bottles of winter lager? I never knew that the Starks had their own brewing company, but hey, why not? After all, those men definitely can hold their drink. I am just not sure if lager is their drink of choice.

Nonetheless, this design is worth taking a look at. While all the curly things at the bottom are not really my type, I can’t deny my appreciation for the tough expression on the direwolf’s face. I think, though, that the direwolf is a little too lean. Then again, the direwolves in HBO’s series were not too buff anyway.

My only regret is that I only stumbled upon this design today, when it was on sale at Tee Fury for only 10 dollars on Wednesday! Maybe with enough demand, they will put it up on sale once more.

In the meantime, stay warm and don’t forget, winter is coming. Oh, and you might want to go back to some previous Game of Thrones-related posts. These ought to keep you happy for a bit.

Geek + T-Shirt

Clever designer Karen Hallion has created a T-shirt design that takes the friend “Circles” concept from Google+ and brings it firmly into geek territory.

The shirt, which is available in a variety of colors, features a Google+ Circle of friends depicted as well-known geek icons. These nine “friends” include Master Chief from Halo, R2-D2, a Star Trek officer (Wesley Crusher, is that you?), Pikachu, Mario, and several more. It’s available from RedBubble for $23.94 plus shipping.

Hallion has a second version of the same design available for the same price that substitutes faces with circular logos, such as the Watchmen happy face button, the insignia of the Galactica, the Death Star, and more. Check it out:

A guy who calls himself Hey Oscar Wilde has decided to play Santa and bring Christmas early to Star Wars fans who like to keep their hands busy.
