Last year, you marveled at a marriage between Calvin & Hobbes and Star Wars, where the beloved child-and-stuffed-tiger were depicted as Han Solo and Chewbacca — adorably riding a toy Millenium Falcon. If you liked that instant classic, you’ll love this scifi-meets-comic-strip mashup. Read more »

Terminator 2: T-800 Brain Chip Replica
On April 19th at 8:11 PM, Skynet was supposed to become aware. In the Terminator franchise that day is known as Judgment Day, when the machines turns against us. On April 19th Judgment Day didn’t come obviously. Twitter though was buzzing with the fact that they day had arrived. I’m sure the die hard fans secretly hoped it would happen, just for the fascination of time travel. Rediscovering Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
I have rediscovered Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I did watch the pilot episode of this sci-fi series but was not suitably impressed enough to actually start following it (I watched it after the dismal Bionic Woman pilot so it may have had something to do with my disinterest). But raves from my sci-fi loving friends made me check the series out again. And I was pleasantly surprised. It may not be as compelling as Fringe but the new Terminator series is still a decent sci-fi show. It’s refreshing to see the Terminator mythos given more meat and soul, which is so different from the soulless and brainless Terminator movies. Read more »
