Forget moving to Saturn for a lifestyle change, if you’re smart you’ll try Titan, one of the giant planet’s satellites. Apparently the atmosphere on Titan is nearly perfect for creating life or so says a recent experimental study in which the moon is bombarded with nitrogen-rich atmosphere and then UV rays which in turn can produce organic molecules that form the basis for life. So how in the world did researchers attempt to recreate the planet’s atmosphere? Apparently they placed nitrogen and methane (two of the most commonly found substances on Titan) into a stainless steel container and then subjected them to constant UV rays. Read more »
