Games – There was a time when I lived for the Assassin’s Creed games. Each new release was something to set my entire calendar around. But the next one, the pirate-infused edition, I just can’t seem to get into.
Games – Now that Desmond Miles’ story has ended, where will the mega-successful franchise go with Assassin’s Creed IV? Into pirate territory, apparently.

Games – You’ve seen the CG trailer from E3. You’ve seen the gameplay demo. You’ve even seen that mind-blowing naval battle at sea. Here’s something you haven’t seen yet from Assassin’s Creed III: the commentary E3 attendees heard while getting a one-on-one presentation of the game behind closed doors.
Games – From Resident Evil to Left 4 Dead, zombie survivalist shooters are a dime a dozen. But ZombiU is an original twist on the genre that’s worth getting excited about — and not just because it’s a Wii U exclusive.
Games – One of the biggest wow moments of this year’s E3 came at Ubisoft’s media briefing, where they unveiled a brand new, “Assassin’s Creed-sized” IP called Watch Dogs. Jaws were on the floor as this stunningly realistic world slowly revealed its first few secrets.
Games – So that video game for The Avengers we’ve been waiting to hear about? It’s not a movie tie-in (which is probably a good thing), and it’s only for Kinect and Wii U. Meh-heh?
Games – Oh, Ubisoft. You big ol’ tease, you. Having enjoyed loads of viral success with past Assassin’s Creed marketing campaigns, it’s no surprise that Ubisoft is kicking up the PR dust by once again asking fans to take part in spreading the word by helping to “unlock” the new game’s latest trailer. Sure… Make us do […]
Games – I Am Alive is an ambitious, post-apocalyptic survival game where resources are few, fights are discouraged, and the air is unbreathable. It was once meant to be a retail game but it became a downloadable title instead. Is this a negative portent of the game’s quality? Not necessarily.
Games – If Ubisoft has been secretly behind all of the supposed leaks this week from Assassin’s Creed III, then it’s been a master stroke of PR. If not, they seriously need to tighten security. ‘Cause after all that stuff we got yesterday, now we have the first five screenshots, too.
Games – UPDATE: Ubisoft has confirmed the rumors with the release of the official Assassin’s Creed III packshot. And holy crap is it awesome! Click through to view. The video game world is all aflutter today with leaked information claiming that Assassin’s Creed III, due this Fall, will introduce a Native American assassin who fights Templars during […]
Games – The more I see of Ubisoft’s forthcoming download-only first-person survival game I Am Alive, the more I’m digging it. This new trailer shows you how realistic combat is in this survival-focused, post-apocalyptic city.
Games – Five years will have passed since the last game in the series by the time Rainbow 6 Patriots arrives in 2013, but the first details about the game hit the Net today, and they’re pretty shocking.
Games – Man, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed machine is cranking like crazy. In anticipation of November 15th’s release of Assassin’s Creed Revelations, there is so much tie-in stuff happening, it would constitute an entire article to catalog them all. So hey, why not do just that?
Games – Sit back and settle in, because I’ve got three videos for Assassin’s Creed Revelations that show off its awesomeness in three very different ways. These are required viewing. Seriously, you have to watch. There could be a quiz later.
Games – Talk about aging gracefully. Ezio Auditore, protagonist of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and the forthcoming Assassin’s Creed Revelations, is nearing the end of his years in the new game. But he’s never looked more lethal.
Games – I have no idea who’s winning, but there’s a war raging in Paris as we speak. The battlefield? Ubisoft’s Paris office building and the offices of French bank BNP Paribas across the street. But instead of weapons, these two foes are wielding video game characters portrayed in Post-It Notes.
Games – Should you buy the Animus Edition or the Collectors’ Edition of Assassin’s Creed Revelations this November, you’re going to get something extra special in your goodie pack. Assassin’s Creed Embers is a new animated short film that’s been crafted by UbiWorkshop as a special “thank you” to the core fans. But what’s it about?
Games – EA, Sony, THQ, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. Interactive have all announced plans to start charging for “Online Passports,” which will be required purchases for players who want to play with used game discs. Specifically, these $10 passports will be needed to play multiplayer games (like Ubisoft’s Driver: San Francisco, pictured above), but there’s nothing to keep […]
Games – Oh, Ubisoft. You make such fantastic games. Why must you always have the cheesiest E3 media event? At least the last few years with Joel McHale hosting had some genuinely funny moments. But this year’s event, hosted by Aaron Priceman, aka Ubisoft’s “Caffiene Man,” was just painful to watch. It should be used in classrooms […]
