Burger Kings Windows 7 Value Meal Available in Japan
Sorry for getting your hopes so high. I invented the title because I’m not really sure whether Burger King Japan is actually offering Windows 7 as part of a value meal package. But what I know and perhaps you do to by now is the fact that Burger King has released (tech lingo when new products came out) a new Windows 7 Whooper version. To make this new version of Whopper special, Burger King has stacked up 7 burger patties in an normal Whooper. Of course that 7 is pretty much symbolic. Read more »
Windows 7 Beats Harry as the Best Pre-Order Product
Words on the streets say that Windows 7 is now the biggest pre-order product of all time beating Harry Potter. But that’s for the Amazon UK Store only. Not only is Windows 7 the biggest pre-order product of all time but it has also sold more copies during the 8 hours of its release in July. Obviously, Windows 7′s strong sales performance even at it pre-order stage beats Vista’s entire pre-order stage. Read more »
Windows 7 Gets "Official" OS-tan?
So I’m sure by now everyone is already aware of the upcoming release of Windows 7 and all the new and improved features it comes with, but you might not have heard of Nanami Madobe. According to Akiba PC, the Japanese version of Windows 7 Ultimate will be getting an OS-tan named Nanami Madobe who will be voiced by popular singer Nana Mizuki. So what is an OS-tan you ask? simple, it’s basically a mascot character drawn anime-style that represents an operating system (more details here). Read more »
