Today Microsoft has unveiled a major overhaul to the Xbox Dashboard which comes complete with a ton of new features and enhancements. While the aesthetic improvements may seem small — on-screen selections are now flat panels, similar to the Zune interface — but there’s a lot that’s been changed under the hood, with a serious eye toward Kinect-friendly alterations. Microsoft Fanboys Rejoice! Zune is Going International

Three years after launching its Zune entertainment product, Microsoft has finally realized the need to make it international. Financial Times is reporting that Microsoft is about to launch its Zune entertainment brand outside of the U.S. Obviously, Microsoft has finally realized that they can’t compete with Apple’s iPod brand if the Microsoft Zune HD remains within the confines of the U.S. market.
