For $20,000, George R.R. Martin Will Kill You in "A Song of Ice and Fire"

I am the first one to make half-meant jokes about George R.R. Martin sitting down to focus on writing “A Song of Ice and Fire” and stop piddling, promoting other authors’ books, writing prefaces, and all the other stuff that he does.

This time, though, I think I shall shut up and even share his latest endeavor NOT directly related to getting the fantasy books done.

George R.R. Martin is running a campaign for a good cause. Titled “Win A Wolf Sanctuary Tour and Helicopter Ride with George R.R. Martin”, the crowdfunding campaign will help the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and the Food Depot – probably the closest you’ll get to direwolves.

Prizes range from an exclusive t-shirt to a signed map of Westeros to a helicopter ride with the King of Grisly Deaths himself.

The ultimate prize, though, is worth a whopping $20,000: yourself as a character in the novel!!!
