A New Look at BioShock Infinite's Floating City

BioShock Infinite — widely regarded as the most highly-anticipated video game currently on the docket — is almost upon us. Irrational is teasing the game again this week with a couple of new videos that reveal more of Columbia than we’ve seen so far.

The first video, embedded above, examines the history of Columbia, explaining how it was first revealed to the public during a World’s Fair, and how it was later revealed to be a devastating weapons platform which would eventually secede from the United States. It’s done in the style of an old 80s TV show that examines historical mysteries. (Reminds me of a viral video that was made in a similar fashion for Lost a while back.)

As if that’s not enough to stimulate your excitement, Irrational also dropped a more traditional game trailer, this one also focusing on Columbia, the “City in the Sky.” If the first video didn’t take your breath away, this one is guaranteed to get it done. It’s edited like a trailer for a blockbuster movie, and it’s really well made. It’s embedded below.

Man, they’re killing me with this stuff. I think they’re toying with me, really. How about you?
