Can you imagine not having cartoons, video games, and animated movies? They’re very much an integral part of our lives that we actually recognize characters just by hearing their voices.

But, how much do your really know the people behind those voices? In my opinion, animation voice actors are underrated and deserve more credit. Sure, there are the popular ones like you-know-who Homer’s real life voice, but there are more people who should get some attention. To be honest, I don’t know a lot, but here’s a chart which will us learn more about the real people giving voice to some of our favorite animated characters – from TV shows to video games to movies.
I can’t believe Rob Paulsen is not on there! Pinky, Dr. Scratchansniff and Yakko from the Animaniacs, Raphael in the original Teenage Ninja Turtles and Donatello in the 2012 version as well to mention just a few. Pretty surprised he was skipped.
Also, I was a little surprised to see Billy West not referenced for Stimpy from Ren And Stimpy. That show really changed animation and while Billy’s voice work is pretty prolific Stimpy is still a landmark character for him.
