Artistic Movie Posters

If you like movies, art and wall decorations you should check out Tomasz Opasinski’s work. He creates abstract posters of movies like, Inception, Tron, Black Swan and even A Nightmare on Elm Street. For a lot of the posters he uses a plain or modified munny doll.

Tomasz art is very abstract and modern. If you have outgrown the standard movie posters but still like to have something movie related in you home, some of these posters are perfect. I really liked the Inception version, the movie itself has become a cult, one that will stay on the list of best movies for a long time to come. Having the Inception poster, nice framed and all on your wall, can’t go wrong.

The posters are printed on artist canvas, 27×40 inch with a 2 inch white border. He has an Etsy shop where you can purchase one for $150 dollar a piece. A bit steep considering it doesn’t mention if they are limited prints which would justify the price. Although I highly doubt you will come across the same poster hanging at someone else home.

The Munny posters seems great for a geek work place or as a nice and unique gift to a geek and artsy friend. If by Christmas time you have problems coming up with gift ideas, bookmark his Etsy shop. I keep being delighted with such finds on the internet. I don’t come across these arts in in galleries, it’s still very much the same ole same old where I live.

If I ever manage to find a new apartment(looking for months now) I will be going through all the art posts I wrote here and pick something to hang on the walls.
