At&t to release the HTC Tilt

Windows Mobile handsets are typically big and heavy. The HTC Tilt is no different, but at least it looks good while having those “flaws”, instead the plastic-brick feel most handsets have.

The device goes on sale today, for $299.99 (got to love those “9.99” prices), comes with Windows Mobile 5 Aero edition (also known as Windows Mobile 6), a QWERTY keyboard, and a few extra applications to make the OS shine a bit more: TeleNav, AT&T Music, and Cellular Video.

As for specifications, you can count on being able to connect this device to almost anything as it can use Wifi and HSDPA, and has a bunch of other things like a 3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSDHC port (up to 32GB), a GPS receiver. If only it also served coffee…

According to the Chris Ziegler’s opinion, this is one of the finest Windows Mobile devices you can get right now, and even I have to admit that for it’s price point, it seems like a really good bet for those of you who are into Windows Mobile-enabled devices, or even those that aren’t but want a device that is packed with features, but affordable in the price.
