Best. Sculpture. Ever.

If you don’t know what this is… well, first of all, what planet do you live on? Your mom probably even knows what this is. And now someone has made a 3D sculpture based on this classic Microsoft/PC animation.
Whenever the Windows 3.x classic Solitaire game ended in victory, the player was rewarded with this cool animated effect where the playing cards bounce-bounce-bounced across the screen, leaving trails behind. Design/art collective Skrekkøgle created this 3D sculpture using more than 1,000 pixelated, custom-made cards attached to cut-apart black foam board. Then it was just a matter of piecing them together into the appropriate shape. They even printed and affixed a customized Solitaire desktop background behind it.
The finished sculpture is huge, measuring nearly 5 feet wide by 2.3 feet deep by 1.3 feet high. Sadly, only one was made, and it’s not for sale. More pics below.
