When Classic Literature and Zombies Collide
Zombies everywhere. And some people are getting tired of it.
That’s not really the case for us, though. While we don’t grab at every new zombie thing that is released, zombies still have a special place in our hearts. (Keep your eyes peeled for a great piece on The Walking Dead.)
It seems we’re not alone in this. With Pride and Prejudice and Zombies coming out in a few days, the guys at Costume Discounters decided to go with the classic literature zombie flow and create some mashups to throw in a little gore to your classics.
Check them out.
Classic literature zombies
To Kill a Mockingbird (1960)
“The timeless tale of Atticus Finch saving Maycomb County from the Ewell family… and an army of revived corpses.”
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Zombies (1964)
“Oompa, loompa, doom-pa-dee-deet; how many of these children have brains you can eat?”
This gives me the creeps without having to look at the poster.
