Commodore 64 On Your S60 Phone

Got new gadgets and yet still craving for something reminiscent of the past? I don’t know why this happens but it does – and a lot of times. You know, we have all the newest in gaming consoles, the newest in mobile games, and yet there are times when we yearn for something from the past. The familiar look and sound of old games and applications just cannot be matched by the glitter of more advanced technology at times.

Enter the Commodore 64 home computer emulator. Dubbed Frodo, this emulator was ported from Christian Bauer’s original Frodo for Amiga. We can thank Jal Panvel and Alfred E. Heggestad for doing this wonderful task for Epoc and Hannu Viitala for Nokia 9210 and S60.

The latest version of Frodo also supports sensors (accelerometer), vibration, on-screen keyboard C64 and audio engine. To enable those those features, you have to install Bilbo library also.
