Conan Re-Created in LEGO for Comic-Con

Here at ForeverGeek, our love for “LEGO artist” Nathan Sawaya knows no bounds. If you’ve ever wanted to see how he builds the amazing things that he builds out of LEGO bricks, here’s your chance.

As you probably know, Comic-Con is happening right now in San Diego. As part of the festivities, Conan O’Brien has sent his “Team Coco” down to southern California, where they’ve opened up a real-world version of his virtual Museum of Conan Art. Created just for this installation is this life-sized LEGO build of “The Flaming C,” O’Brien’s superhero persona.

Here’s an awesome time-lapse video showing Sawaya creating the giant art piece, and personally, I find it incredibly fascinating. I’m kinda surprised to see that his huge creations are hollow, though I suppose that makes sense. And judging by the number of outfits he goes through, it took him like a week to make this thing.
