Cyber Monday Geek Guide
Today’s the day, and you’ve probably got your cash and/or plastic all ready to splurge on what you can get your hands on. Of course, if you’ve got some control and sense, you’ll be setting aside something for Monday.
Here’s a quick Cyber Monday geek guide for you.
Wal-mart does it one day early!
Wal-mart has decided that just because it’s called Cyber Monday doesn’t mean it has to be held on a Monday. Why? Because they can.
Write this down: Wal-mart’s Cyber Monday/Sunday will launch 2,000 online-only specials at 8 PM Eastern U.S. time on Sunday, Nov. 29 (0100 GMT on Monday, Nov. 30).
Amazon does Wal-mart one better
If Wal-mart says Cyber Monday will be held on Sunday, Amazon says, we’ll offer discounts even earlier – just like they did with Black Friday all week long.
If you have a lot of time, and you really want to get the best deals, keep the Amazon page open all the time and always check out the flash deals. Not everything’s geek-friendly, but you’ll surely find something to spend your money on.
Motorola wants to make a comeback
Not an Apple fanboy? Or maybe you just like having different options. Check out Motorola, which wants you to visit their site on Cyber Monday:
The best deals appear on Cyber Monday. Enjoy impressive savings on select Moto phones from Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM CT to Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at 11:59 PM CT.
Adorama’s holiday sale
Adorama is not holding back when it comes to discounts. Instead of limiting its offers to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the online store has its “Holiday Day Deals” section. Depending on the gadget, you can save hundreds of dollars. Adorama offers cameras and accessories, TVs, and drones! (And more)
