eMusic - Unlimited MP3 downloads

eMusic is returning on Wednesday, under new ownership. eMusic is one of the oldest online music download services, but went out of business until being bought out by Dimensional Associates.

The new service will offer mostly independent content, with a few big names like Ray Charles, Moby, and Beck in the lineup. Rather than charge per download like the iTMS, eMusic charges a monthly fee for unlimited MP3 downloads, which are all completely free of any copy protection.

If you listen to a lot of independent music or are looking for something new besides the mainstream pop music, you can probably find something to like on eMusic, and at a great deal too.
