Everything You Want to Know About Borderlands 2

Gearbox just dropped the mother of all trailers on the gaming community: a 7-minute overview of everything there is to know about Borderlands 2.
Pandora is not the world you remember. As Sir Hammerlock explains in his trailer narration, the Borderlands have changed. For starters, there are actual cities on Pandora now, with paved roads, huge buildings, and other signs of metropolis civilization. More importantly, there’s a new big bad in town, and “bazillions” of weapons and abilities await anyone who wants to try and take him down. Like its predecessor, Borderlands 2 is about a dangerous, open world with an endless variety of bad guys to fight and nearly infinite customization options for weapons, abilities, and bonuses.
The original Borderlands was a blast, but the sequel clearly ups the ante on just about everything that made the first one worth playing. More than that, it looks like Gearbox decided that the only way to justify doing a sequel to a game where there were already endless possibilities was to find exciting new ways to make it as just plain fun as possible.
Borderlands 2 arrives on September 18th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
