Free Folder Size Utility for Windows
If you’re a Windows user, I guess you’ve also tried to figure out where all your HDD space is when your cleaning your disk. However, right clicking and going to the properties of the folders is a pretty tedious task, not to mention that it also takes luck sometimes to figure out what’s taking up so much space.
(Last time I was cleaning my HDD, I spent almost 5 hours trying to figure out why I had 2GB+ data on the Documents and Settings folder. Turned out it was because of Google Desktop’s indexation file.)
This utility allows you to know a Folder’s content total size and displays it on the Size tab when you choose “Details” on your folder view. It’s a simple, yet very effective tool, and I definitely recommend it to everyone that uses a computer.
