Get Your Bruce Lee On - LEGO Style

In the LEGO universe, this is a bloodbath. YouTube user “Namchild” made this amazing stop-motion short film called The Duel, featuring a lone swordsman going up against a dozen or so assassins. Some of the LEGO minifigures in it wind up cut in half. For real.
I’d love to know how long it took to make The Duel thing, because it’s a truly impressive piece of work. There are actual explosions, and tons of cool fight-scene effects like bullet time. When you watch it, you’ll find it particularly remarkable that there’s no CGI on display, though Namchild says on his YouTube page that he used some Photoshop to erase support apparatuses used to assist in capturing those stop-motion frames.
Also worth mentioning: The Duel is based on a short pencil-drawn tutorial on animation by YouTube user Lohenhart. In fact, it’s pretty much a shot-for-shot remake of Lohenhart’s original short film, only using LEGO minifigs (and living room furniture) instead of pencil-and-paper. This, by the way, takes nothing away from the incredible achievement of Namchild’s stop-motion film.
