High Moon Studios Making Deadpool Game

While we keep waiting (and waiting) for a proper Deadpool movie, at least we have something to tide us over. High Moon Studios, creators of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, have announced that they’re working on Deadpool: The Video Game.

The third-person action game will likely drop sometime in 2013, though neither High Moon nor Activision (who’s publishing the game) have announced a firm release date yet. All we really know is what little can be gleaned from the teaser video above. Oh, and that Marvel’s own Daniel Way is penning the story. Planned platforms are unknown, but the graphics show off a game obviously being made with consoles in mind.

Really, what else do you need to know? (Actually, I’d like to know who the actor is that’s voicing Wade Wilson.) It’s Deadpool, his self-loving, sarcasm-spouting personality is fully intact, and it’s got buckets of carnage. The one and only Merc-with-a-mouth is coming to a game system near you next year.
