Introduction to Linux for Non-Geeks
Hell it is a pretty good introduction for anybody.
I was first exposed to Linux in 1998. University of South Florida Bookstore had RedHat 5.2 (I believe). Bought it. Installed it. Cried because I couldn’t get some stuff working. Felt like a loser. Proclaimed myself stupidest person on the planet. Reinstalled Windows 98. Cried. Computer crashed. Proclaimed myself stupidest person on the planet. Reinstalled RedHat. Then Half-Life came out and the rest is history…
