We don’t usually post music videos on ForeverGeek unless it is some kind of parody song or something, but I have noticed ALL GEEKS I KNOW seem to have no idea that the following Rick Ross and Skrillex video for Purple Lamborghini is actually a prequel to the Suicide Squad movie (and seems to feature more Joker than the freaking movie itself). The story it tells is a very unique one that most seem to miss. Here, peep it for yourself and I will tell you my synopsis after the jump.
Now we all know it is implied this new Joker is a gangster, and he is. The video “drives” it home. He was at club making plans for the car he wanted. You watch through the entire video that is what is happening. Him and the shady car squad (consisting of Ross and Skrillex) are on their way to get it. The reaction you see at the end of the video is The Joker reacting to his sick, new whip (I think that is what cool kids call cars still), even though they teasingly keep it off-screen. Seems everyone who watches this video thinks it is just The Joker having fun. Nope, and for anyone wondering, he did stay in character the whole day on set. Rumor is, as cool as he was, he genuinely freaked some people out.
Good. He should. He probably stole their bitches, too.
