The Most Awesome LEGO Creation You'll See This Week [Bat Alert!]

Sorry, guys. I know Robin’s post giving us the first look at The Hobbit LEGO set put a lot of strain on your heart and made your blood pressure skyrocket. I hope you have a healthy heart, though, as this other LEGO creation will certainly make you feel your heartbeat in your ears. Especially if you have a thing for Batman.

Today’s focus is on two guys who obviously love both LEGO and Batman, so much so that they took it upon themselves to create a LEGO Batcave. Nothing more needs to be said, yes?

Well, for the record the guys behind the LEGO Batcave are Wayne Hussey and Carlyle Livingston. BrickCon enthusiasts will recognize Hussey, who runs that show. Livingston makes apps for a living, but I think he’s prouder of the LEGO Batcave than any  app he’s made. ;)

And, for the stat nerds, the LEGO Batcave was made over a period of 3 months, with the work totalling about 400 hours. At least 20,000 LEGO pieces were used and the cave weighs 100 pounds. (So yeah, if you’re thinking of stealing it, forget it!)

Without further ado, feast your eyes on the LEGO Batcave. And weep in envy.

We have to showcase the brilliant brains and fingers behind the LEGO Batcave. It would be a crime not to!

And to show you they really paid attention to the details, here is where the Batcopter gets out.

And even more details – from bats clinging to the ceiling to Robin to the Batmobile!

This Batcave may be made out of tiny bricks, but it sure is packed with tons of things and rooms. Here’s the Batplane.

And last, but not the least, we have these two guys.
