LEGO-ize Your Christmas Tree

There’s something so simple and genius about these LEGO ornaments, which are sold exclusively at lego.com. They come in three festive holiday colors — green, gold, and red — and you can hang them as they are, or you can open ’em up and build something Christmas-y.

If you’re really clever, maybe you could even use the bricks to build something small enough to fit back inside the clear globe, to be hung again on your tree. The bricks inside are a mixture of solid colors and tinted clear bricks. There are 40 bricks in each 3-inch-wide ball.

LEGO sells these ornaments for $7.99 a pop, though if you order now you’ll find them on back-order. Hopefully lego.com will get more in time for Christmas!
