This LEGO Prosthetic Leg Is the Most Amazing Thing You'll See Today
This goes beyond awesome. It really does.
LEGO has always been one of the most amazing toys a child – or child at heart – can have. Not only does it give you endless hours of pleasure, but it also makes your brain work, bringing out the creative in you. While not everyone truly gets LEGO, I think that if there was ever an argument about its awesomeness, it ends here. No questions asked.
It started out as a joke, when a colleague of Christina Stephens suggested that she make a LEGO prosthetic leg. You see, Christina lost her foot in an accident, but that didn’t stop her from living her life. She is actually an occupational therapist and clinical researcher, and she even has a YouTube channel especially for amputees.
Where does the LEGO prosthetic leg come into the picture? She shares:
Someone in my research lab jokingly suggested I make a prosthetic leg out of legos. The joke’s on you—I went home and did it. Please don’t do this yourself, I don’t want you to fall and get hurt!
Showing more spirit than I can ever imagine, she went ahead and turned tables on the colleague. The result? Her LEGOleg.
