Loc8tor Tracking Device
Satisfy your urge to become the ultimate geek spy (or at least find your oft-misplaced geek gadgets). The Loc8tor portable tracking device lets users track tagged items up to 600 feet. You can use the Loc8tor two ways: actively track items directionally, or be alerted when an item moves out of range (or you move out of range of the item).
The easy to use device works by you attaching small tracking devices (measuring 19.5mm W x30.5mm H x 8.5mm D or the size of a postage stamp) on the things you want to be able to find, or track in the future, and then using the Loc8tor to find them.
Rather than having the range of one of those stupid whistling keyrings, the Loc8tor has a very impressive range of 183 metres (600 feet) using directional audio and visual prompts to guide you directly to within 2.5cm (1 inch) of your lost item.
The Loc8tor will set you back £99 (about US$ 173). But that’s likely worth enough investing in a good security measure against losing your beloved techie toys (presumably under heaps of laundry at home). Oh yes, parents might find this useful with their kids at the mall, at the park, or while traveling!
