Microsoft announces new line of Computer Mouses and Webcams
Engadget recently got a hold of one of Microsoft’s brand new Computer Mouses, the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000, and it brings quite a few innovations compared to past Microsoft products. Besides being wireless, it has a rechargeable battery which recharges via a magnetic cord that attaches itself to the transceiver.
As if that wasn’t convenient enough, the transceiver isn’t just a troublesome thing to attach to your laptop, it also has 1GB of internal memory. So it turns out to be a very versatile and convenient mouse to carry around, and it’s price is reasonable for the kind of the device it is: $100. As for the rest of the accessories:
Granted, the 1.3 megapixel LifeCam NX-3000 and 2 megapixel LifeCam VX-7000 are decent and all as are the new $50 Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and $50 Wireless (RF) Notebook Laser Mouse 7000.
Sounds like a decent lineup, although there’s nothing revolutionary, it’s a nice refresh of most of their small-form Mouses for of those of us who don’t need gaming mouses.
