Millennium Falcon Blueprints

How cool is this? Wired has posted the blueprints for Han Solo’s signature ship, as first published in 1987’s Star Wars: The Role-Playing Game, by the now-defunct West End Books. The book is long out-of-print, but this is one of its finest schematics.

The schematic is full of references to stuff mentioned in the Original Trilogy, from stuff like the holographic game that R2D2 and Chewbacca play to the Strobe/C-Beam Lamps (aka, the “Headlights”) at the front of the ship. If you’ve ever wanted to know how the Millennium Falcon is laid out, and what kinds of systems it has — including the manufacturer’s brand names — then you’ve got to take a look at this.

My favorite part is the handwritten note at the bottom left, with “HS” as the signature.
