Moleskine iPad/iPhone Hybrids

As much as I am a gadget geek I still love analog things like pens and notebooks. I have several brands of notebooks including a couple of Moleskine’s and I even have two fountain pens. It doesn’t get more old skool than that.

If you are like me and like both digital and analog then you should seriously consider the new Moleskine covers for the iPhone and the iPad.

With the iPad and other tablets becoming mainstream and smartphones slowly taking the majority in the mobile phone market paper is becoming redundant. Good for the trees but a loss to our way of life. While I can’t go a day anymore without my iPhone I still feel the need to write things down with pen and paper instead of using the note app. My supermarket has an app that lets you easily make a shopping list but I still take a sheet from my note-block and write down what I need to buy.

Moleskine also has a cover for the Amazon Kindle. The Kindle has its own note taking functionality but sometimes writing down something is just faster. Even though I will probably end up with an e-reader too I will still buy paperbooks now and then. Call me a tech, paper and pen geek.

The Moleskine cover for the iPhone, iPad and Kindle can be bought on Amazon. The iPhone and iPad cover has yet to be released while the Kindle cover is not available yet for Kindle 3, only Kindle 2. The price the Kindle cover is $29.99 which gives you an idea what the other covers will cost.
