NEC announces it's own Vista running cellphone
Even though I’m not a big fan of Vista it’s a bit silly that while we are still running custom Linux builds, or tweaked versions of Windows CE and Mac OS X, the Japanese cellphones are already capable of running Vista, which is one of the most demanding operative systems ever.
This time we have NEC announcing it’s own device to compete with Sharp’s D4 (which we featured here yesterday), and just like the D4, this device also uses Intel’s latest Atom processor.
However unlike Sharp’s device, we do not know much about the NEC LUI cellphone, other than it’s screen size: 4.1”, it’s weight: 250g, and it’s price: (approximately) $2,123.
