Old Toys Revived

Do you imagine where your old childhood toys ended up if they haven’t been thrown away? What about your GI Joe or Star Wars figurines, heck even a Pink Panther or Bugs Bunny figurine. The answer is: flea markets, garage sales and eventually maybe as an art piece.

Lucas Mongiello an Argentinian artist based in Paris, France, collected these old figurines when he came across them on flea markets and created some cool art with them. He mixed several sets of these figurines and assembled them inside glass cases. A bit like a boat in a bottle concept, only with a glass case.

Lucas’ creation is a great idea for if you still have your childhood figurines stored in boxes somewhere. They make a nice decoration on a desk or in a book case alongside your books. I would love to have such a glass case with my childhood favorite characters such as; Leono from Thundercats, Speedracer, Bugs Bunny, basically a complete mix of varying characters. One can never have enough childhood nostalgia.
