One Month Revision3 Only
So I have decided that I am going to try a little experiment. Currently, there is a writer’s strike still going on, so this shouldn’t be too difficult, but I am going to take a month, and the only media I am going to watch has to come from Revision3. That is the company that does Diggnation, The Totally Rad Show, Systm, Tekzilla and many others.
For me, this means no GeekBrief.tv. I will miss you Cali, but I think that Revision3 has grown enough now that it can sustain this geek’s television programming needs. This means no online or offline video, unless it comes from Revision3. I have a feeling I am going to wish that they made some science fiction programming.
I will be trying out shows that I haven’t watched before, as well as reporting on how each week of leaving all other offline and online video programming goes. I hope that this helps prove that even just one big content producer, like Revision3, has enough compelling content that it really doesn’t matter if the writer’s strike ends.
A friend of mine spent a month using iTunes via his AppleTV as his media source, and he survived, and found it rather enlightening. Will I find the same thing limiting myself to one content company?
Has anyone else tried something similar before?
