PixARK: Survival Evolved Crafts a Whole New World of Adventure
It’s not big news that the love of retro gaming or at least the LOOK of retro gaming has taken over the realms of pc, console, and mobile platform adventuring. Blocky yet beautiful, and simultaneously simple and complex all at once, die hard PixARK players have crafted complex worlds from the most basic of elements.
The world of PixARK looks to become even more engaging than some of the other games you may have played in this genre before. For one, it looks more colorful than any I’ve seen and its got lots of opportunities to build, battle, dig, destroy, and yes, craft just about anything your mind can come up with. Throw in more than 100 dinosaurs and other creatures to tame, train, and ride (I think I even saw a panda below), eight unique biomes to explore (deserts, jungles, caves, etc), and “procedurally generated worlds”, meaning that no two worlds you enter into will ever be the same, and you’ve got one hell of an immersive space to conquer.
PixARK : Survival Evolved is coming to retail and digital on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox One X later in 2018. But for now, you can step into this voxel-baed sandbox survival game in Early Access mode on Steam and Xbox Games Preview starting March 27th.
