PSP gets a price drop in Europe

After the United States, Europe was the obvious place for the next price drop on Sony’s first portable console. Starting from the 4th of May, the price for the basic PSP package will drop to €169.99 or 129 GBP.

In addition, Sony also plans to release five new Platinum titles for the system at the same time: Ridge Racer 2, Tekken, Killzone, LocoRoco and Moto GP. Now, all that Sony needs to do is to basically hurry up and release great titles that will increase sales on both of its systems and promote those that own the two.

The possibility of an HD Gran Turismo that uses the PSP as a controller, or as an extension of the game itself, is mouth-watering. That is, if that ever happens…
