Sandisk introduces a new DAP
Sandisk will introduce very soon in Japan a new digital player built to compete with Apple’s very succesful iPod Nano.
2, 4 or 6GB and will also support microSD cards. You will have of course the possibility to play WMA DRM MP3/WMA files and this in a slim body of 13x44x89mm for only 74g.
I must admit that I’ve seen much uglier DAPs, and if this player plays and works as good as it looks, and if it’s priced decently, there’s a good chance that some people might choose it over the iPod. For me however, until someone other than Creative starts developing an interface as easy to use as the iPod’s, I’ll stick with them for the time being.
