See How E3 is 'More Than Games'

I love love LOVE this short film. I’ve tried so many times over the years to explain to people who’ve never been to E3 what it’s really like, and words can never do it justice. This little two-minute video, titled More Than Games, captures everything I’ve always tried to say so perfectly.

Yeah, the games at E3 are amazing, and it’s awesome to get your hands on them before anybody else. But E3 is so much more than that. There’s something about the tangible energy and excitement, and the size and spectacle and sensory overload of it all. It’s like nothing else in the world.

You won’t see any video game footage in this video. More Than Games, created by filmmaking group Collective Visual (the people behind Press Start) and Bitmob, is about the people and the incredible sensation of being at E3. Filmed at this year’s E3 (2011), And it’s incredibly well made in high-def video, put together with smart editing that brings the event alive.
