Sharp's new two-in-one screen TV

Sharp has unveiled it’s new TV which allows two different viewers to watch totally different content depending on whether they are sat on the left or the right of the screen. The affect is created by sending two different pictures out from the backlight, one projected towards the right and the other to the left. Sharp have added that this method of projection will allow for the control of viewing angles, meaning that someone browsing the internet will be able to limit the range at which the screen can be viewed to ensure that only they can see the screen. The joint effort between the European and Japanese strands of Sharp will be brought into volume production by next month and commercially available by Christmas (the perfect gift for any geek). It’s odd though that the biggest issue with early LCD’s was their limited viewing angles, yet Sharp are now producing a technology designed solely to limit viewing angles and what will happen to the viewer sat straight ahead of the screen? (will he be able to see both screens?!).
