You’ve got the girl, the ring, and the idea for the perfect proposal… now it all comes down to how you’re going to get the ring from Point A (your house) to Point B (her ring finger).
Sure, there are the traditional ring boxes, but those are bulky and obvious.
Then there’s the “Clifton,” the flat engagement ring case. It can be easily slipped into your pocket or wallet on the “big day.”
The Clifton is rather inconspicuous-looking, which reduces the chance of it being accidentally discovered if your partner happens to like snooping (more engagements than you think have been discovered this way).
It is about 1cm thick and opens like a book, displaying the ring inside. You can select your engagement ring case based on the ring size and stone size, for a total of six combinations. The box itself also comes in all sorts of colors and patterns.
There seems to be no shortage of things you can buy to spruce up your engagement and wedding. This box is one of those things.
The whole concept of this flat ring case came from Andrew Zo, a packaging specialist in Canada. This is a one-man show run out of Vancouver, so stock can be limited depending on the season. If you want to buy it, click here.
While the box carrying the ring isn’t nearly as important as the ring itself (or, for that matter, the person you’re giving the ring to), there is something elegant and classy about this little ring box.
