It just goes to show you how amazing J.J. Abrams is that a year later people are still openly speculating about forthcoming twists in the new Star Wars sequel (not Rogue One from this year, but part VIII from next) and pondering who could be related to whom and how they all tie together, mainly focused on Rey. From theories about Luke to theories about her falling out of Yoda on a sunny day (I just made that one up), we have heard it all. But recently one of the people actually making episode VIII may have given something away without meaning to.
“The Force Awakens” producer and writer, J.J. Abrams, revealed that Rey’s real parents are not in the Episode VII movie. If this will be considered, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia Organa are out of the choices.
This revelation just makes the theory that Rey is actually Obi-Wan Kenobi’s daughter more possible. “
While many have made this speculation, the fact that her parents are NOT in Episode VIII really does greatly reduce the suspects. In the same breath, Obi Wan did not seem like he murdered pussy, so at this point, it’s anyone’s game, really. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rey’s Dad ended up being Cartman’s Mom at this point.
