STEAM PROMO: Start 2010 with Shattered Horizon (USD$4.99)
Before you even read the rest of this entry, click on this link. As of this writing, you only have three hours or so for a great deal on Shattered Horizon.
Heads up gamers! If you’ve been following the crazy insane holiday sale on Steam, you’ve probably come by a couple of great deals including including the 33% price slash on Borderlands (which seems to be a semi-permanent offer) and the the USD $9.99 tag on Street Fighter IV. These are probably no-brainer purchases for you, but I found a great deal that’s not built to last — it’s so good, you only have 3 hours left from the time of this posting before Shattered Horizon migrates back to its original USD $19.99 price tag. At 75% off, it’s a steal.
Shattered Horizon literally adds a new dimension to the first person shooter, by allowing free movement around outer space. Yeah you still have the guns and there’s still a lot of killing but this time it’s done without the forces of gravity at play, adding a bit of hilarity to the already beautiful looking shooter. At 1GB in size and the small price tag, the only let down we can point out are the software requirements of DirectX 10. If you’re running on Windows XP, you won’t be able to run this as well.
