Steve Jobs to give early iPhone adopters $100 credit

After yesterday’s unveiling of new iPods, and the much criticized iPhone price drop, a lot of fans have been debating and speculating about how well, or badly, the iPhone’s sales might be going, rather than talking about the new products. But today our sister blog, Apple Gazette discovered that there was one more “One more thing”  from Steve Jobs.

Although there was certainly no need to do so, and most people understood and acknowledged that price drops are a normal part of any tech-product’s life cycle, Steve Jobs has decided to give early iPhone adopters, that aren’t able to get a refund for a recently purchased iPhone $100 credit to use in any Apple Store, or on Apple’s Online store.

Full details in how to receive this $100 credit will be revealed next week.

Since the iPhone has sold almost 1 million units already, that is quite a considerable “gift” to consumers, and it just shows that Apple is serious about their price drop, and consider it a smart decision.
