Ranking of Kings

Ranking of Kings is a Japanese manga and anime series, created by Sosuke Toka.

First released in May 2017, the manga has received 16 different volumes, the latest of which was released in April 2023. By December 2021, Ranking of Kings had sold over 1.5 million copies. It can be read on Viz Media.

The popularity of the manga lead to Wit Studio developing an anime which initially ran for one season between October 2021 and March 2022.

The following August, it was announced that Ranking of Kings would be returning with a special episode titled “The Treasure Chest of Courage.” The series was released on Crunchyroll in April 2023 and retained the cast from the original.

The series follows Bojji, a prince who was born deaf and diminutive in stature. He makes friends with a former assassin named Kage and the duo team up on a variety of adventures in order for Bojji to earn the right to become king.
