Takahiro Iwasaki's Art: Not Your Ordinary Use of Duct Tape
MacGyver has proven time and again that duct tape is the solution to any problem. But have you ever thought that this magical material can also be used to create art? Ask Japanese artist Takahiro Iwasaki, and he will show you what he has done.
I can imagine, theoretically, how the topographical maps were created, but there is no way I can make them myself. Amazing what you can do with a little imagination and skill, isn’t it?
But that’s not all! Takahiro Iwasaki seems to have a penchant for ordinary things that we use around the house, things that usually contribute to the disorder at home. How about thread? You may not pay much attention to thread, especially if you don’t sew, but Takahiro Iwasaki has created some pretty amazing structures using this material.
And if you’re that impressed, bear in mind that these structures are really small and very delicate. It takes a lot of imagination, creativity, and patience to come up with these tiny things using everyday household items!
