The Evolution of The Joker
Some people, you just can’t get enough of. Even if you know they’re bad, you get drawn like a piece of metal to a magnet.
I guess the Joker is somewhat like that. He’s crazy mad, yet he has this thing about him that brings out pieces like the one Remy wrote last month: The 5 Most Beautifully Unsettling Things The Joker Has Ever Done. Warning: Not for the faint of heart or those who hate spoilers.
Just like other superheroes and villains, the Joker has had his own path of growth over the years. While his backstory hasn’t been revealed (though this will probably happen at some point when DC needs a boost) – or probably because his backstory is a mystery, the Joker has been an object of fascination for most DC fans.
Over the years, the evolution of the Joker is something that everyone may know – especially new fans. Hardcore comics readers, movie and TV buffs might know all about how he has changed over the decades.
Here is an infographic called “The Evolution of the Joker”, which will take you on a trippy ride from 1897 (Steeplechase Face) to – you got it – 2016 (Suicide Squad).
Have a look and see if you know the Joker as well as you think you do.
